Our Story
Fulton Family Farms, nestled in the fertile expanse of the Willamette Valley just beyond Dayton, Oregon, offers a charming respite merely 43 minutes away from Portland. In the 1970s, during the oil crisis and era of surging inflation, Floyd Fulton made a pivotal decision. He sought a simpler, more grounded existence for his family, leading him to acquire the farm. Over time, the Fulton family expanded their agricultural footprint, procuring additional plots in Dayton for cultivation and even engaging in land leasing endeavors in Washington. This strategic approach empowers the Fultons to curate a diverse array of delectable crops, ranging from succulent cherries and renowned Walla Walla sweet onions to luscious berries and some of Oregon's most coveted peaches. In the present day, Floyd Fulton's son, Chris Fulton, adeptly manages the farm's day-to-day affairs. Endowed with an inherited passion for the art of farming, Chris thrives in the vibrant rhythm of the bustling market scene. More often than not, you'll discover Chris showcasing the farm's freshest offerings at your nearby farmer's market. Should you chance upon him at the market, don't hesitate to drop by the stall and extend a friendly greeting!
